Lace brownies

I saw these brownies yesterday and knew that these were the brownies for me. It looks delicious and looks amazing! The woman who designed this cake was asked to do it for Dolce & Gabbana (I didn't know there was designer cakes!), well, for their online magazine. She drew her inspiration from the Fall 2010/2011 runway show.

I am definitely going to try this one out; although I probably will skip the several attempts at making a beautiful lattice of tempered chocolate, I don't think I'd have the patience!

Pomplamoose and Nataly Dawn

Today's post is about music! It is about this band I found on youtube while searching for "la vie en rose", it was one of those moments where you have a song in your head for so long that it takes over your mind until you listen to it. I found Pomplamoose's cover and ended up listening to all their songs and covers. My favourite was their cover of September by Earth Wind and Fire, because I adore that song!

The singer, Nataly, studied French in college, which of course makes me love her more. On her own youtube channel I found this cover of a french sonnet that she adapted into a song. It was stuck in my head for several days :)

Luxirare's gratin extraordinaire!

Luxirare is a ridiculously talented woman who makes a variety of things such as coats, dresses, killer handbags and food.
I thought this would be a good first food post because her gratin looks so amazing; that is what food should always be like.
